We need to pray with faith and have faith before we pray, we also need to have faith while we wait for God’s answers. James 1:2-4 “We breathers count it all joy when we fall into divers reputation: knowing this that we trying of all your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing.”
“Patience” is Greek for “hupomeno” this is a compond word. “hupo” means under or over something, and “meno” means to stay or provide, remain in one spot, keep position, resolve, or to even maintain ground. In turn if in when we pray we must stand your ground on your wants and do not waiver from your wants. “Patience” also means endurance, to stay in power or staying power, hang in there power. In Revelations 1:9 “the patient waiting for Christ.” Jesus had demonstrated the greatest patients while he endured great suffering on the cross.
We must pray till we hear what God has intended for us to hear, whither or not it is what we want to hear. We must maintain our ground that we will hear Gods answers and have the patience that we may not recive the answers according to our will but His will.
